Interview with FASTER director Mark Neale

August 3rd, 2008

Regular readers will know that MotoGPBlog recently ran a competition to win one of five downloads of FASTER from the US iTunes store.

We were also lucky enough to land an interview with Mark Neale, the director of FASTER.

In the interview we discuss real life in the paddock, whether Dr Costa is really that enigmatic and the total dedication of the riders. Also, Mark talks about a couple of his projects in the pipeline, such as the motorcycle racing movie he has written with Ewan McGregor and the possibility of a new MotoGP documentary on Rossi.

If you’re reading this in an RSS feeder, you’ll need to click through to the site first.

Capirossi out, Spies in for MotoGB

June 18th, 2008

Ben Spies gets an early nod for his MotoGP debut with the injury to Capirossi’s hand being enough to keep him off the grid for this weekend’s MotoGP race. It will be tough for Spies, having never been to Donington before and especially if the forecast showers play a part in the event.

Whatever happens, MotoGPBlog will be there this weekend. Updates will happen throughout the weekend with exclusive pictures from trackside. MotoGPBlog is still catching up with Mugello and Barcelona news, but normal, in fact extra-ordinary service will resume from today onwards.

It’s good to be back.

MotoGPBlog goes on holiday

May 28th, 2008

MotoGPBlog is taking a short summer break over the next couple of weeks. As a result, updates will be slower than normal and will depend entirely on internet availability in the Canadian outback. Scratch that - will there even be TV?! In other words, don’t hold your breath for a race report for either Mugello or Catalunya.

Coverage of the British GP in June will also be affected, but hopefully in a positive way because MotoGPBlog will be there in person. Expect in-depth coverage and exclusive pictures in the third week of June. And if you see us in the crowd sporting MotoGPBlog t-shirts, come and say hello.
