Cspeedphotos from Laguna Seca
July 12th, 2009MotoGPBlog has been following Dan Lo of CornerSpeedPhoto, (Twitter: @cspeedphoto) for a while now. He’s a talented photographer based in the States, and we’re honoured to feature some of his shots from this year’s Laguna Seca MotoGP round. In particular, the shot of Canepa at turn 2 is awesome. Thanks Dan!
Dan used the following kit to get these shots:
- Nikon D200
- Nikon D70
- Nikon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G ED (aka Nikon D80 kit lens)
- Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX
- Nikon SB-600 Speedlight
Clicking on the images will display a higher resolution version.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Dan at the AMA Pro Road Races at Road Atlanta this year. Not only is he a great photographer, he’s an all-around awesome guy. Look for big things from Dan Lo!
And, as always, thanks to motogpblog.com for great coverage and commentary!
While, I’m at it: If you’re in the states, please drop by my new website, http://www.motourage.net. We’re just getting started, but our goal is to provide a one-stop info site to help promote motorcycle racing - at all levels - in the United States and beyond.
The sport we love needs our help to survive, thrive and grow, and I hope everyone will help make that happen.
Thanks,
Dave
